This is a website hosted on TISS data centre to create H5P digital interactives for educational purposes. The website is maintained by the Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education (CETE) at TISS.
What are H5P digital interactives?
H5P (HTML5 Package) is an open source collection of more than 40 interesting digital interactives built using a simple and popular programming language – HTML5 – which is almost universally compatible with web technologies. For more details please explore https://h5p.org
Open the URL https://interactives.tiss.edu and Register using @tiss.edu or @clixindia.org email id.
You will receive a confirmation email to verify the account and set the password.
Click on the 1st link received in your email and set your password (type a strong password and click on “save”).
📌 After registration you will become a subscriber of the website however you still can not CREATE H5P content. Please write to raju.sambari@tiss.edu and Cc sadaqat.mulla@tiss.edu requesting access to create content.

There are two ways to create H5P interactives on this website:
6. Are there any best practices for creating H5P interactives?
Yes, indeed.
Ensure to give some meaningful title/ name the interactives and in general all files related to Curation.
Have a common prefix to all files so that irrespective of where the file is (on your machine or drive or h5p site) it’s identifiable/searchable. For the IFP interactives follow naming convention of <subject>-<grade>-<chapter>-<title>
Example: PhyScience-G8-Ch1-<title>
Please keep consistency in naming convention.
Avoid spaces in the file names and instead give – or _
📌 How to create new H5P interactives or transfer H5P interactives created using trial account on https://h5p.org or https://h5p.com and edit on this website
There are two ways to create H5P interactives on this website:
I. Transfer H5P interactives created using trial account on https://h5p.org or https://h5p.com to this website
Step 1: Log in to your account on https://h5p.org or https://h5p.com
Go to the “Contents” tab
Click on your created content that you want to transfer to interactives.tiss.edu
In the ‘View Page’, select “Reuse” (at the bottom end of the page), a pop-up will appear.
Download the “.h5p” file.
Downloaded file will be saved on your laptop/computer.
Step 2: Login to your account on https://interactives.tiss.edu (make sure you have received access to create content)
Step 3: Select “New” option and click “H5P content” option from the top toolbar or side panel.
Step 4: Select “upload” option to upload a previously made H5P downloaded interactive content.
Step 5: Click the “upload a file” button you will redirect to your computer location.
Step 6: Find the H5P content file(Which is you downloaded) and click “open” button.(upload it)
Step 7: Select “use” button after uploading.
Step 8: Next, select “Create” button from the list of options under “Actions” on the top right side of the window.
Step 9:The interactive will now be available on this website which you can edit further.
📌 Sometimes while uploading an already created “.h5p” file you may encounter errors such as ““Could not get posted to H5P”. In such cases, please carefully read the error message and make corrections. Most of the time a retry would solve the problem. If even after 2-3 attempts you are still unable to upload then please take screenshot of entire screen including URL and seek help from raju.sambari@tiss.edu or sadaqat.mulla@tiss.eduII. Create new H5P interactives
Step 1: Login to your account on https://interactives.tiss.edu (make sure you have received access to create content)
Step 2: Select “New” option and click “H5P content” option from the top toolbar or side panel.
Step 3: Select “create content” option for creating a new H5P interactive.
Step 4: You will see multiple H5P content types such as “Interactive video,” “Course Presentation,” “Multiple Choice,” etc.
Step 5: Examine content types and choose the best fit for your curation and start creating.
